Arbitration and Dispute Resolution in the ‘New Normal’

Join Damian James as he joins experts in construction and law for another spotlight event. The next event will feature James Banda of AMW & Co, Legal Practitioners as well as Kort Egan of Gatehouse Chambers, and takes place on 9th February.

James, Damian and Kort will discuss the changes that have taken place as a result of the COVID pandemic. How those changes have affected dispute resolution, whether for good or for bad, and what the future might hold. The experts will be shining the spotlight on arbitration in this next event. They’ll be looking at evidentiary matters and how things have been dealt with where face-to-face hearings cannot take place.

They will also examine the unique challenges posed by the African and Zambian legal framework in tackling dispute resolution. Finally, the panel will take a look at what the future might hold. How might hearings take place in future? Is the landscape of construction and law likely change forever?  Join us on Wednesday 9th February for what promises to be an interesting and insightful hour or so of discussion.
